Role Description
The Account Executive is responsible for working with prospective and current clients to identify their needs & requirements, and mapping those requirements to O3’s software offering. By demonstrating the value proposition of AWP as a process and O3 software as the digital enablement tool, the Account Executive will bring in new clients and expand our business footprint, both in terms of geography and sectors. The Account Executive will also maintain current client accounts by assisting with client feedback, implementations, new functionality, and expanding the potential use of O3 for that client account.
Areas of Responsibility
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Account Executive shall: - Be the immediate point of contact for new prospective clients and current client accounts.
- Identify and contact potential new clients.
- Present O3 to these prospective clients and highlight our key differentiators.
- Understand their current approach to AWP, their needs and requirements, their AWP maturity, and how O3 can be applied to their business.
- Liaise with the Product team to facilitate demonstrations of the software to show its capabilities and strengths – aligning these to the needs of the client.
- Oversee and coordinate the response to client RFPs for AWP software, working with other departments to provide the necessary technical responses and feedback.
- Gather project or portfolio information from clients to provide the basis for pricing estimates.
- Create proposals for clients to explain the value and cost of O3 software.
- Manage all opportunities and sales activities within the CRM software.
- Answer all client enquiries and requests throughout the sales process, including any technical support for AWP (as a process) or O3 software. Where necessary, coordinate such responses with other departments.
- Negotiate, finalize, and close opportunities to the point of purchase order / contract.
- Perform a Sales Handover meeting with the Client Success Team to provide details of the project, the conditions of the sale, and any other details relevant to the successful implementation of the software.
- Provide periodic updates on sales status and key performance indicators to the CRO.
- Effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards.
- Facilitate internal team and customer meetings effectively.
- Coordinate internal tasks across various departments to ensure clients receive products and services.
- Suggest an improvement to internal processes along with possible solutions to be more efficient.
- Comply with and help to enforce standard policies and procedures.
- Effectively interface with other departments for billing and contractual obligations.
Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of sales or customer-facing business development experience
- MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
- Ability to work on multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to travel up to 20% (Customer Kick-Offs, vital onsite meetings, etc.)
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work flexible hours to support overseas projects, as needed
- SaaS experience – must have a minimum of 5 years of selling a technology
- Selling Construction technology software – high priority not quite a “must-have”
- Selling $100K+ Annual contract value size deals
- Enterprise selling motion experience – longer sales cycle, larger stakeholder maps, larger deal size
- Demonstrated consistent over-achievement over the last 3-4 years
- Quotas =>$1M
- Start-up experience
- Nice to have: AWP Construction Experience or AWP Software Experience

- Industrial Construction experience preferred, knowledge of Advanced Work Packaging methodology a plus
