We enjoyed having you at the annual AWP xChange in Houston. Here are some short takeaways from the event.
Purpose: Understand the value that O3 is providing to current Owner and EPC clients as well as the long and short-terms plan for O3’s software.
Keynote: Amy Marks – The formula for digital change and the urgency to do so now. Digitization vs Digitalization and what the future holds for Industrial Construction.
Enhancing Value Through Digital Partnerships: Cody Austin – Project data is critical to the success of a digital transformation. Autodesk supports the common data environment and connects you to the field.
Staying Agile on Mega Portfolio Projects: Jeremy Brunson – How to plan for the long term while remaining agile in the present. The importance of planning AWP early on in a project.
Global Digital Application of AWP and Reporting: Jay Moser – AWP is not limited to large projects but can be used across a wide range. Project size should not be an impediment to using AWP. Get everyone involved including scaffolding. Plan ahead, use constraint management as a starting point and always measure your results.
The Criticality of Integrated Data for AWP: Davide Guzzi – Data consistency is important to the success of a project. Defining clear digital requirements is also critical. The more users you have inputting data the more successful your project will be.
Enhancing Data-Driven Project Delivery: Geoff Ryan – AWP increases productivity and there’s proof in project statistics. It also saves millions on projects. If you don’t measure it you can’t manage it.
The Future of AWP and Technology: Colin Budka and Andrew Foy – O3 provided a glimpse of what’s been done in the past year and what’s on the horizon for the software including PoC copilot, automated IWP sequencing and scoping copilot, navigation enhancements, localization, graphical scaffolding planning, and usability enhancements.
We capped the day off by a night out at the Houston Astros game in a suite! The Astros pulled off another win in with a base hit in the bottom of the 10th inning.
Overall, the event was a great success, and we are thankful to all of those that presented, sponsored, attended and help support.
