MARKETING OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to develop the marketing data strategy to provide the sales and marketing team with the necessary insights to build high-performing campaigns. You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and analytical strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.  

A key component of Marketing Operations involves analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of each channel and the overall performance digital marketing programs with data. It is also the MarkOps Manager’s responsibility to drive action based on the data and/or inform other members of the company. 

Position Purpose

Your job as marketing operations manager is threefold: maintaining, optimizing, and integrating a set of marketing tech stacks, including HubSpot, Salesforce, and other software tools. You will work closely with other teams across the organization and help impact change and optimize performance.  

Areas of Responsibility

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Strategic Direction 

  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives to drive performance improvements, continuously enhance the impact of marketing, and help the company continue along its fast growth trajectory 
  • Collaborate across teams to identify hurdles, conduct analysis, and drive resolution through a rigorous, data-driven process 
  • Create and manage project plans with clearly defined deliverables and resources, coordinate work streams and dependencies, track and communicate progress, and identify obstacles and ensure they are addressed 

Tactical Execution 

  • Design, build, and maintain pages for O3’s website (www.o3.solutions) and improve the user experience of the website to convert visitors into leads 
  • Create data driven strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics and develop website content aligned with the organization’s brand and product strategy 
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights 
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize user experience 
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points 
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels 

Marketing Technology 

  • Maintain HubSpot, Salesforce, and other marketing software tools’ performance to support the sales and marketing team, and optimize processes 
  • Connect front end properties such as web pages, digital ads, and SEO programs with backend analytics tools 
  • Create process and training documentation to guide the marketing team 
  • Train the marketing team on the best practices to support marketing software tools 
  • Audit the use of marketing software tools with an eye towards continually improving how they are configured 

Marketing Data Stewardship 

  • Be proactive – review website performance, information flow, and creative campaigns to to drive better outcomes   
  • Ensure data cleanliness in various systems, merge like records, remove duplicate data, research causes of bugs to make improvements 
  • Cleanse, enrich, and upload prospect lists from various events and campaigns 
  • Build smart lists in HubSpot & Salesforce to aid in persona- and account-based marketing efforts 

Marketing Analysis 

  • Provide support to team with ad-hoc analysis and/or the underlying data as needed 
  • Measure and investigate new tools to support the sales and marketing team 
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and marketing automation programs and provide recommendations

Knowledge & Experience

Requirements 

KEY COMPETENCIES:  

  • Highly creative with data and analytical experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate 
  • Managing processes 
  • Self-motivated yet customer-focused 
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis 
  • Familiar with financial planning and strategy 

 

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:  

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field 
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing 
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a digital marketing or advertising position 
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate 
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels 
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, etc.) 
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., Rollworks, Google Ads, etc.) 
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google campaigns 
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints required 
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking 
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Outlook  
  • While basic knowledge of the construction industry is helpful, training will be provided
